The ministry
Why James 5?
James: 5 Ministries is a grassroots, Christ-centered movement grounded in the conviction that faith must take visible form in mercy, justice, and solidarity with workers and the poor.
“Christ over Capital” expresses our first allegiance. We seek a Christian response to economic injustice that is theologically serious, ecumenical, and rooted in the life of the Church.
James condemns the withholding of workers’ wages and the luxury built on their suffering. We take that warning as a charge to the Church today.
